Karim Semmar born 31 Oct 1951 in Salé, Morocco
At age 15 made music with transistor radios
Went on his 18th birthday to France
Set his foot into Germany in 1970

1971: came to ZOOM Club, Frankfurt as an assistant to owner Cooky Dahl
1971-1973: made friends with Bodo - one of Germany’s outstanding DJ's at that time
1973-1976: started to DJ at ZOOM Club
Visiting bands included Genesis, Robert Palmer, Barcley James Harvest, Thin Lizzy, King Crimson
1977-1984: DJ at Mackie Messer Club
1985-1990: Wartburg Club, Wiesbaden
1990-1991: Music Hall Club, Frankfurt

1992-1993: ‘Used’ Second Hand Vintage Clothing Store
1994: started importing goods (traditional arts & crafts from Morocco) under the name of ‘Souk’
1999: Souk Showroom
